Keeping your bathroom organized doesn’t have to be a daunting task, with a little bit of planning you can easily make your space more tidy, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing. Let's be honest, we can use a little help to keep our sanity in check when the anxiety sets in, realizing we’re late for work! My #1 rule when decorating a bathroom or re-organizing, is to keep it sleek, simple and minimal. Any ideas I use for bathroom storage should be easy to clean, have the ability to hide your personal items and always keep things covered like q-tips, cotton swabs, makeup brushes. The amount of dust that settles on these items when they are out in the open is pretty gross, so I always keep them covered or in a container with a lid for easy access. 

Maximizing your countertop storage solutions is a must. I like to use a variety of items, from shelves, jars, baskets to wall-mounted soap dispensers and cool, covered makeup storage. There are so many items we use in the bathroom and making sure they all have a clean space to call home, will free up your countertop from clutter and ease you into your day while you get ready.

Another way to keep your space clean and organized is by using hooks for towels or cabinets with glass doors. Not only does a cabinet offer plenty of storage space, but it looks great in any bathroom setting. Decorated with a  framed art piece leaning on top, a snake plant (my favorite bathroom plant that thrives without sunlight and helps keep the air clean!) and a beautiful scented candle. Plus, with the glass doors, you can easily find what you're looking for without having to open and shut every cabinet.
