ON TREND JEWELRY: GEOMETRIC + MODERN PEARLS

Last month the JCK Jewelry Trade Show hit Las Vegas with quite a bang!  As the top leader of discovering new and innovative jewelry designers and trends, JCK has me drooling over these pieces. I'm all about gold and even though I tend to always gravitate towards the geometric jewelry trend, I'm in love with the look of the modern pearl trend too.

My two fave trends are a lot like me.  Bold and strong, with an old-fashioned, soft nostalgic side that loves anything that reminds me of the classic vintage style that my super-hip grandma use to wear.

  • Geometrics

  • Bold shapes, highlighted by cutouts, strong use of metals or oversized gemstones

  • Modern Pearls

  • The antithesis of your grandma's jewelry, fashion-forward, uber hip

Gold is my spirit guide.  From office accessories to nail polish to fashion accessories, I'm completely addicted to the glam glow of gold.

I also love the art deco inspired, geometric pieces and when mixed with the modern pearl, it makes a bold statement all on its own.

Although I'm a huge fan of color, you will usually see me wearing all black with a few statement jewelry pieces that pop and now every one of these absolutely gorgeous pieces below are now on my dream wish list!

  • Fern Freeman Eyelash Earrings

  • Amy Glaswand Pendant Necklace

  • Amy Glaswand Earring Jackets

  • Doryn Wallach Finely Ribbed Open Cuff

  • Sylvie Collection Diamond Ring

Some of the other trends from the JCK Jewelry Trade Show were:

  • Exotic Journey

  • Warm yellow golds, mixed with vibrant colored gemstones intricately set in patterns and designs found on a globe-trotting adventure

  • Mixed Metals

  • Bright golds layered on blackened silvers, high shine juxtaposed on hammered matte finishes

  • Industrial Arts

  • Black diamonds, dark metals, matte finishes, chainmail
